What's Included?
Your ramp arrives in fully assembled. The railings are always removable, so you can place them on either side of the ramp, allowing you to orient the ramp however you like. In the box we also include a safety rope.
What is so nice about the Ramp is that it can sit parallel to a bed to take up less space in a bedroom, unlike all other ramps.
The ramp is also 59' long and 14' wide, with the walkway itself being 11' wide. This is designed to be compact and not obtrusive in the bedroom, but please ensure this width of walkway is sufficient if you have a medium size breed of dog.
Here are some good tips on how to prevent an injury:
Keep your dog strong! A strong back puts less stress on the discs themselves to absorb impacts.
Don’t let your dog do stairs! No more using Pet stairs or Pet steps.
Use ramps for your puppy to get on couches and beds.
Extra Sturdy for Extra Peace-of-Mind
This may possibly be the best innovation of the whole ramp; a little simple little wood block and rope that is super easy to install and yet incredibly effective in making this ramp 100% sturdy.
The Safety Rope:
A simple yet very effective way to anchor the ramp from wobbling
Place wood block on opposite side of bed with rope under the mattress
Pull rope tight, tie off to leg of ramp.
*Even if your bed does not have this setup, rope can be tied off to a post, loop over a footboard, as well as further configurations which we detail in our Setup manual.
